A tested device and a socket for testing are electrically connected with a good precision degree. A handler device, returning the tested device to the socket for testing, includes: a socket for adjustment interlocked with a device maintainer before the device maintainer for maintaining the tested device is interlocked with the socket for testing; an adjustment socket position detecting part detecting a relative position of the tested device against the socket for adjustment while the device maintainer is being interlocked with the socket for adjustment; an actuator adjusting a position of the tested device on the device maintainer based on the relative position of the tested device; and a returning part returning the device maintainer with the adjusted position of the tested device in order to interlock the maintainer with the socket for testing. |
