PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device that suppresses the occurrence of a skew movement of a belt member caused by a driving roller even when disturbance has occurred to the belt member and a driving load has increased.SOLUTION: A steering roller 3 is tiltably supported to autonomously steer an intermediate transfer belt 1. A secondary transfer front roller 4 arranged at a proximate position on the upstream side of a driving roller 2 contains a rubber material at least on the surface. Thus, the amount of skew of the belt occurring to the steering roller 3 is reduced when a photoreceptor drum 111 is brought into contact with the intermediate transfer belt 1, which also reduces the time required for the skew movement to be ended. |
