PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a welding torch occasionally interferes with a base material when executing multilayer-banking welding corresponding to instruction information.SOLUTION: An interference avoidance device 2 comprises: a storage part 21 for storing shape information on a shape of a base material 8 for executing multilayer-banking welding, instruction information for indicating an instruction point and a torch attitude of respective passes of the multilayer-banking welding and torch information for indicating the positional relationship between the tip of a welding wire and a welding torch 3a; a torch position calculation part 24 for calculating a position of the welding torch 3a by using the torch information and the instruction information; an interference determination part 25 for determining whether or not the welding torch 3a interferes with the base material 8 by using the shape information and the position of the welding torch 3a; and a correction part 26 for correcting the instruction information corresponding to a pass of a determination object when determined as interference. As a result of it, interference in the multilayer-banking welding can be avoided.
