<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection unit and a hot water supply system hardly affected by foreign matters.SOLUTION: A detection unit 68 includes: a body 93 having a curved flow passage 105 formed by connection between an upper stream side flow passage and a downstream side flow passage, and an evacuation space 101 formed at a location out of the curved flow passage 105 and opened on a connection point 111 between the upper stream side flow passage and the downstream side flow passage; an impeller 120 having a rotation axis 118 extending along the axial line of the evacuation space 101; bearings 124, 126 arranged in the evacuation space 101 and rotatably supporting the rotation axis 118; a detection unit 114 for detecting a rotation state of the impeller 120; and an eddy current induction structure realized by a flow passage connection structure provided in the upper stream side flow passage and generating an eddy current and pivoting around the axial line of the evacuation space 101 in the connection point 111 by guiding a hot water flowing from the upper stream side flow passage to the connection point 111 to a location biased to one side for the axial line of the evacuation space 101 in the connection point 111.</p> |
