<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve collation accuracy in a system which determines whether a face included in a captured image is coincident with a registered face, on the basis of a similarity between the face included in the captured image and a face included in a registered image registered in advance.SOLUTION: An image registration device includes: an image input section which inputs an input image including a face; a registered image extraction section which extracts a registered image including a face similar to a face included in the input image, from a registered image storage section which stores the registered image including the face; a face reliability acquisition section which acquires face reliability indicating likelihood of the face included in the extracted registered image, and face reliability indicating likelihood of the face included in the input image; and a registered image update section which stores the input image, as a new registered image, in place of the former registered image, in the registered image storage section, when the face reliability of the input image is equal to or higher than a first reference face reliability determined based on the face reliability of the registered image.</p> |
