<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source drive device that performs an individual PWM control of a plurality of light sources of a display device, and is compliant with a backlight scanning control.SOLUTION: A light source drive device 100 comprises: light source drive units 1A, 1B and 1C that perform an individual PWM control of each of light sources 2A, 2B and 2C; an amount-of-light detection unit 3 that detects the amount of light of each of the light sources 2A, 2B and 2C as amount of light detection values Ls_a, Ls_b, and Ls_c; and a control unit 41 that controls a Duty ratio in the PWM control on the basis of comparison of the amount of light detection values Ls_a, Ls_b, and Ls_c with a target amount of light value. The target amount of light value when the light sources 2A, 2B and 2C are subjected to the backlight scanning control is such that a target amount of light value when the light sources are not subjected to the backlight scanning control is corrected on the basis of a ratio of a light-up time ton of the light source in one period t0 of a backlight scanning.</p> |
