<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that has a simple configuration that moves a moving member between a contact position to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface of an endless member and a separation position to be separated from the inner peripheral surface of the endless member, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A fixing device 100 includes an urging mechanism 150 that urges a contact member 152 so as to move the contact member 152 to a contact position, and an opposing mechanism 180 that moves the contact member 152 from the contact position to a separation position. With this configuration, a simple configuration is provided, which moves the contact member 152 between the contact position and the separation position, compared with a configuration not using the opposing mechanism 180 and the urging mechanism 150.</p> |
