PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem type image forming system capable of stabilizing the density of an image on the front and rear surfaces of a paper sheet.SOLUTION: The image forming system includes a first image forming apparatus, a paper reversing part, a second image forming apparatus, an image density detection part which detects the densities of a first pattern image for highest density adjustment and a second pattern image for halftone density adjustment which are formed on the paper sheet in each of the first image forming apparatus and the second image forming apparatus, and an inter-apparatus density adjustment part. The inter-apparatus density adjustment part corrects a density control point on the basis of the detection result of the first pattern image by the image density detection part and corrects exposure energy on the basis of the detection result of the second pattern image. A first density control part and a second density control part correct the density control point or the exposure energy, according to the printing rate of the image. |
