PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of noise.SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus includes a plurality of pixels each including: a photoelectric conversion part which performs photoelectric conversion in incident light to generate a signal charge; a charge storage part which stores the signal charge transferred from the photoelectric conversion part; a floating diffusion part to which the signal charge in the charge storage part is transferred; a waveguide for converging the incident light to the photoelectric conversion part; and a light shielding part which is provided to cover at least the charge storage part and includes an opening for making the converged light incident to the photoelectric conversion part. The waveguide includes an incident part to which light is made incident and an emission part which emits light, and an interval between the emission part and the photoelectric conversion part is larger than an interval between a lower end of the light shielding part and the photoelectric conversion part.
