PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce undesired influences that noise exerts upon data communication.SOLUTION: A receiver circuit includes: a CLK_LP circuit 1; a CLK_HS circuit 2 which generates an internal clock signal when a clock lane is set to an HS mode; a DATA_LP circuit 3 for receiving a differential data signal which is transmitted in a data lane when the data lane is set to an LP mode; a DATA_HS circuit 4 for receiving a differential data signal synchronously with the internal clock signal when the data lane is set to the HS mode; and an abnormality detection circuit 5. In the case where the clock lane is set to the LP mode at a time point when the data lane is shifted to the LP mode, the abnormality detection circuit 5 asserts an HS return signal and returns the clock lane to the HS mode.
