<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus capable of suppressing scattered toner for a long period by an inexpensive and simple configuration without reducing an image quality.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus develops an electrostatic latent image with a color developer by adhering the color developer on the electrostatic latent image created on an image carrier, and carries the color developer by generating a magnetic field in order to carry the color developer to a development region in which the electrostatic latent image is developed. In the downstream side of the development region in the carrying direction of the color developer, a magnetic field is generated in both sides of the region including both sides in the main scan direction of the color developer carrier within the region inside the carrying path into the developing apparatus of the color developer carried by the color developer carrying body which is provided in a gap between the housing of the developing apparatus and a color developer carrier for carrying the color developer.</p> |
