<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production technique for a belt-like rubber material capable of further reducing, compared with heretofore, the air entrainment and stay between the surface of a calender roll and that of rolling-processed film rubber, and capable of removing an accumulated air even if air accumulation is formed without damaging the surface of the calender roll nor formation of defective belt-like rubber material due to break of the film rubber.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for production of a belt-like rubber material for a pneumatic tire comprising rolling a kneaded rubber composition by a rotating calender roll into a film rubber having a prescribed thickness, and then topping the film rubber on both faces of a cord material. The method includes starting a rolling process by rotating the calender roll after the surface temperature of the rotation-stopped calender roll is controlled so as to become the almost same temperature as that of the film rubber at topping.</p> |
