<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire having a core shaft, a coil body, a bulge part formed at a tip of the core shaft, and a fixation part for fixing a tip of the coil body and the tip of the core shaft so as to cover the bulge part; where no part of Au components contained in the bulge part moves to solder for forming the fixation part.SOLUTION: The guide wire includes: a core shaft 2; a coil body 3 for covering the core shaft 2; a bulge part 5 formed at a tip of the core shaft 2 by first metal solder; a fixation part 6 formed by second metal solder which fixes a tip of the coil body 3 and the tip of the core shaft 2 so as to cover the bulge part 5; and a barrier layer 8 formed between the bulge part 5 and the fixation part 6 to cover an outer periphery of the bulge part 5 so that material transfer between the bulge part 5 and the fixation part 6 is prevented.</p> |
