<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a battery pack that can be designed to be thin.SOLUTION: A battery pack 100 has a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery 1 containing an outer can in which an electrode body 15 is accommodated, and a negative electrode terminal 14 (first terminal), and a protection circuit assembly 5 containing a protection circuit 51 and a case 52. The outer can is adjacent to an electrode body arrangement region R1 and an electrode body arrangement region R1 in a direction vertical to the thickness direction, and contains a terminal arrangement region R2 containing a portion smaller in dimension in the thickness direction than the electrode body arrangement region R1. The negative electrode 14 is disposed on a face which is in the terminal arrangement region R1 and intersects to the thickness direction. The protection circuit assembly 5 is disposed to be adjacent to the terminal arrangement region R2 in a direction vertical to the thickness direction. The dimension t4 in the thickness direction of the case 52 is not more than the dimension t1 in the thickness direction of the outer can in the electrode body arrangement region R1.</p> |
