PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of sufficiently cooling a bearing body with a simple structure without needing a circulation pump or the like.SOLUTION: A bearing device 51 for a vertical shaft pump 1 includes: a bearing body 53; a bearing case 55 surrounding the bearing body 53 and housing lubricant L; a partition wall 61 partitioning the internal space of the bearing case 55 into an upper space 57 and a lower space 59; and oil feeding pipes 63, 65 connected to the upper space 57 and the lower space 59, and circulating the lubricant L. The bearing body 53 is arranged in one of the upper space 57 and the lower space 59, and the upper space 57 and the lower space 59 communicate with each other through the bearing body 53 for fluid.
