Disclosed is a lighting device for an aquarium which can easily present an optimal inhabited environment according to types of aquatic organisms, and maintain the optimal temperature of an inhabited environment necessary for the survival of aquatic organisms sensitive to the habitat temperature. The lighting device for an aquarium comprises: a main body housing for forming the external appearance; a lighting unit having a light source for emitting light toward an aquarium; a temperature sensor unit for measuring the temperature of water in the aquarium; a control unit having a controller for setting the operation of the lighting unit, and a micro control unit for controlling the operation of the lighting unit set by the controller and the operation of the lighting unit according to the temperature of water, transmitted by the temperature sensor unit; and a display unit for displaying setting and control by the control unit.
