The present invention is to provide an ion exchange scrubber of a structure which is advantageous for spatial utilization, and can solve contamination by sufficiently purifying gas. According to the present invention, the ion exchange scrubber, having ion exchange fibers, and a plurality of cleaning units for cleaning and reproducing the same, is vertically stacked, a baffle is installed in the middle thereof to allow gas to pass through, thereby obtaining an effect like as if contaminated/waste gas is purified by using several ion exchange scrubbers. The baffle of the vertical combination type ion exchange scrubber includes: a roof having a concave or convex satgat (traditional hat made of bamboo) shape which is equipped in a inclined lower surface portion; a gap for allowing gas to flow between the lower surface portion and the roof; and a pipe provided in an end portion to allow a cleaning liquid, which is introduced to the lower surface portion, to flow along an inclined surface to be introduced to a drain of a lowest end. |
