BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY

Provided is a backlight assembly. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the backlight assembly includes: a storage container; a support frame which is arranged in a lateral side of the storage container; and a light source module which is stored in the support frame and includes a printed circuit substrate and multiple light sources installed to protrude from a surface of the printed circuit substrate. The support frame includes: a floor unit; a side wall unit formed to extend from the floor unit in an upward direction; a cover unit extended from the side wall unit to the inside; a gap maintaining unit which is curved and extended to the floor unit from an end of the cover unit; and an insertion hole which is formed to be depressed to the outside from the inner wall of the side wall unit on the edge of the floor unit and the side wall unit and has the lower surface extended from the upper surface of the floor unit. The printed circuit substrate is partially fitted to the insertion groove to be arranged on the upper surface of the floor unit. The light sources are arranged in a space surrounded by the side wall unit, the cover unit, and the gap maintaining unit.
