PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring die granulator hardly producing long granules which cause clogging in a transport means such as a screw and a pneumatic tube during transport.SOLUTION: A ring die granulator includes a ring die 1 and a plurality of press rolls 2 disposed therein in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the ring die. A plurality of cutters 3 are disposed facing the outer peripheral surface of the ring die part behind each of the press rolls 2, at intervals in the circumferential direction of the ring die. As the distance to the press roll 2 is farther, the cutter 3 has a smaller space between the cutter tip and the outer peripheral surface of the ring die in the radial direction of the ring die. The cutters are disposed such that the space g between the cutter and the ring die is gradually reduced in the rotation direction of the ring die, so that a molded product passing through a first cutter 3 without breakage when contacted is broken into granules with a second or a subsequent cutter 3 at a high probability. |
