PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology with which it is possible to permit the use of contents by one and only device even when a right to the use of contents is moved to another device.SOLUTION: An information processing device pertaining to one embodiment includes a storage unit, a permission unit, and an update unit. The storage unit stores a unique key unique to the information processing device, and stores a first value as a generation value of the information processing device. The permission unit permits the use of contents when a generation value of contents included in right-to-use information in which decoding from contents was succeeded by the unique key unique to the information processing device matches the generation value of the information processing device. The update unit updates the generation value of the information processing device from a first value to a second value when a right to the use of contents is moved from the information processing device to an information processing device at the destination of movement. |
