<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the situation where an information processing apparatus redirects a request distributed from a load distribution device to another information processing apparatus.SOLUTION: A request processing unit 1008 determines whether a request received from a load balancer should be processed by the own server or another server. If the request is determined to be processed by the other server, a redirect processing unit 1010 redirects the request to the other server. A session maintenance period determination unit 1112 determines a session maintenance period to be set to the response to the request. In the determination, the session maintenance period to process a request redirected to another server is set to be shorter (e.g., 0) than when the request is processed by the own server. A response unit 1114 sets the session maintenance period determined by the session maintenance period determination unit 1112 to a response containing the processing result of the request (result of processing by the own server or the processing result returned from the other server to which the request is redirected).</p> |
