PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device having a double speed printing mode, which can improve convenience of the device and reduce waste of print sheets by allowing a user to select a desired operation when double delivery of the print sheets occurs.SOLUTION: The printing device allows a user to set an instant stop mode, a post-printing stop mode and a continuous printing mode as operation modes when double delivery of print sheets occurs from a display device 93 on an operation panel. The instant stop mode is a mode for stopping operation without performing printing on print sheets, of which double delivery is detected, which can be selected only when print sheets corresponding to a first face are double-delivered. The post-printing stop mode is a mode for stopping operation after performing printing on the print sheets, of which double delivery is detected. The continuous printing mode is a mode for continuing printing after the double delivery is detected. The two types of operation modes can be selected when the print sheets corresponding to the first face and print sheets corresponding to a second face are double-delivered. |
