PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting current waveforms caused by lightning strikes, for solving the problems in which: lightning strikes are a concern of the aircraft, power generation, and petrochemical industries; certain structures in these industries are susceptible to lightning strikes; and very hot, high-current lightning channels can attach to these structures and cause physical damage.SOLUTION: A current sensing device 110 comprises a circuit board 120, a Rogowski coil 130 on the circuit board 120, data storage 150 on the circuit board 120, and a control circuit 140 on the circuit board 120 for collecting values representing current sensed by the Rogowski coil 130, and storing the values in the data storage 150. |
