PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique advantageous for reducing noise by performing sensor drive corresponding to an imaging condition.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises a plurality of pixels and a control part for controlling each pixel. Each pixel comprises a sensor for detecting a radiation or light, a first holding part for holding a signal from the sensor, and a second holding part for holding a noise signal which may be included in the signal from the sensor. The control part performs control so that the first holding part holds the signal from the sensor having detected the radiation or light and the second holding part holds the noise signal in a first mode, and the first holding part holds the signal from the sensor having detected the radiation or light and the second holding part does not hold the noise signal in a second mode.
