PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of properly correcting a light amount fluctuation component of an LED print head after it is mounted on the image forming device, and achieving higher image quality and higher stability. ! SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: an LED print head having as a light source an LED array in which a plurality of light emitting diodes are arranged linearly; an image detection part for detecting a pattern image formed; and a control part for referring to light amount correction data and controlling driving current of the plurality of light emitting diodes. Based on the result of detection of two kinds of pattern images detected by the image detection part, the control part extracts a light amount fluctuation component for each of the light emitting diodes, and creates the light amount correction data. !
