PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device comprising a liquid discharge head capable of stabilizing level shift operations. ! SOLUTION: There is provided a semiconductor device for controlling a plurality of driving elements which are provided so as to correspond to a plurality of liquid-discharging nozzles respectively and cause liquid to be discharged from each nozzle by application of a driving signal. The device comprises: a discharge switch which is provided so as to correspond to each of the plural driving elements, has a first transistor and controls application of the driving signal to the driving element; and a level shift circuit which is provided so as to correspond to each of the plural driving elements, has a second transistor formed on a well of the same type as that of the first transistor and converts the control signal of the discharge switch from a first voltage level to a second voltage level which is higher than the first level and drives the discharge switch.
