PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluororesin-containing coating composition excellent in antiweatherability, blocking resistance, and hot water resistance, and a coated article for a building material having on the surface a coating film excellent in antiweatherability, blocking resistance, and hot water resistance. ! SOLUTION: A fluororesin-containing coating composition includes a fluororesin-containing dispersion in water (a) having a hydroxyl value of 0-30 mgKOH/g(solid) and a lowest film-forming temperature of 40-60°C, an ether-ester based compound (b) having a specific gravity of 0.90-1.03, a boiling point of 230-350°C, and a 5% weight loss temperature of 150-250°C measured by Tg-DTA (rate of temperature rise: 10°C min.), and water.
