The present invention relates to a rotor balancing device of a wind turbine and a control method thereof capable of moving a counter mass to a proper location in real time to compensate for imbalance occurring in a rotor of a wing turbine. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are the rotor balancing device of a wind turbine and the control method thereof which comprise: a hub installed on one side of a nacelle to be rotatable; a plurality of blades coupled with the hub and rotated by wind; and counter masses installed on one sides of the blades and installed to be movable along with longitudinal directions of the blades.
