PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication module connector that enables high density mounting of communication modules and is small and easy to use, and a communication module comprising the connector.SOLUTION: A connector comprises a plug connector and a receptacle connector. The plug connector includes an insertion recessed part 31 comprising an end surface 80, two parallel outside surfaces 33 facing each other with the end surface 80 in between, and a first taper surface 81 coupling the respective outside surfaces 33 and the end surface 80. The receptacle connector includes an insertion concave part 51 comprising an insertion hole 90, two parallel inside surfaces 53 facing each other with the insertion hole 90 in between, and a second taper surface 91 coupling the respective inside surfaces 53 and an edge 90a of the insertion hole 90. On the outside surfaces 33 of the insertion convex part 31, a plurality of first connection terminals are arranged, on the inside surfaces 53 of the insertion concave part 51, a plurality of connection terminals 54 contacted with the first connection terminals are arranged, and the width of the first taper surface 81 is more than twice the width of the second taper surface 91. |
