PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-phase synchronous motor capable of improving torque and efficiency by enlarging an induction voltage to be generated in a coil.SOLUTION: A synchronous motor 1 includes a rotor 3 and a stator 2. In the rotor 3, ten permanent magnets 9 are disposed on a surface of a soft magnetic back yoke 8 so as to alternate magnetic poles in a circumferential direction. In the stator 2, two-phase coils 6a and 6b are alternately wound two by two in circumferential direction in a concentrated manner around eight teeth 5 protruding from an annular core back 4 to an inner diameter side. In the neighboring teeth 5 around which the coils 6 of the same phase are wound, directions of the coils 6 are inverted and the two-phase coils 6 are electrified with alternating currents deviating phase angles at 90° in electric angle synchronously to positions of magnetic poles in the rotor 3. A slot opening between the neighboring teeth 5 around which the coils of different phases are wound, is wider than a slot opening between the neighboring teeth 5 around which the coils 6 of the same phase are wound. |
