PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively use an amplifier circuit with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 11 includes a booster 14 for amplifying a signal output from an NFC controller 13, which performs communication by radio signals, to output the same to an antenna circuit 12. Based on an output from a directional coupler 17 which detects signals in the transmission/reception directions of the antenna circuit 12, the radio communication device 11 selects to perform transmission either from the antenna circuit 12 through the booster 14 or from the antenna circuit 12 without passing through the booster 14.
