<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which offers a wide view angle and high zoom ratio, is well corrected for chromatic aberration over an entire zoom range from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end, and provides superior optical performance over the entire zoom range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens group which has positive refractive power and is stationary while zooming, a second lens group which has negative refractive power and moves while zooming, a third lens group which has negative refractive power and moves along a trajectory that is convex toward the object side while zooming, an aperture stop, and a fourth lens group which has positive refractive power and is stationary while zooming, where the third lens group comprises a cemented lens of one negative lens and one positive lens, and a single negative lens. A focal length fn1 of the negative lens constituting the cemented lens, a focal length fp of the positive lens constituting the cemented lens, and a lateral magnificationβ3w of the third lens group at a wide angle end are each set appropriately.</p> |
