<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heat capacity of a member which is driven so that an endless peripheral surface thereof is circularly moved, and to reduce the load of driving.SOLUTION: A roll-shaped rotating body 22 is formed of a belt 31 formed as an endless belt and a roll-shaped base 32 which is formed by elastically deforming a thin plate material to wind it in a plurality of turns into a roll and is inserted to the inside of the endless belt and is pressed to an inner peripheral surface of the belt by elastic repulsion due to deformation. The roll-shaped base is inserted to the inside of an end part support member both end parts of which in an axial line direction are annular, and is pressed to an inner peripheral surface of the end part support member due to elastic repulsion of rewinding of the wound thin plate material and thereby is supported. The end part support member is supported so as to be rotatable in a circumferential direction. This roll-shaped rotating body is used as a fixing member or a pressure member of a fixing device for fixing a toner image T on a recording sheet P, and the recording sheet is fed between the fixing member and the pressure member and is heated and pressurized.</p> |
