PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for films which suppresses transfer of a plasticizer from an adherend material containing a plasticizer, e.g. soft vinyl chloride, to an adhesive composition in a high-temperature environment, reduces deterioration of the adhesive strength of the adhesive itself in a low-temperature environment and has high affinity for printing inks.SOLUTION: An adhesive composition for films contains a (meth)acrylic copolymer which includes a structural unit A derived from a (meth)acrylic monomer having a carboxy group, 44-70 mass% of a structural unit B derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester of a glass transition temperature as a homopolymer of 0-45°C and 29-55 mass% of a structural unit C derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate ester of a glass transition temperature as a homopolymer of -80 to -60°C.
