PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission/reception system which improves operation stability in a simple circuit configuration.SOLUTION: A transmitting device includes: modulation means (DPSK modulator) for modulating a signal of a predetermined frequency in accordance with a modulation system that represents information with property changes of signals in neighboring phases; adding means (coupler) for adding a modulated signal to an input signal as a pilot signal; up convert means (mixer) for up converting a frequency of the input signal on the basis of a reference signal; and transmission means (mixer) for transmitting the signal. A receiving device includes: receiving means (mixer) for receiving a signal; down convert means (mixer) for down converting a frequency of the received signal on the basis of a predetermined signal, demodulation means (synchronizing circuit) for demodulating a pilot signal included in the down converted signal; and generation means (synchronizing circuit) for generating a reference signal on the basis of a signal of a predetermined frequency and supplying the generated signal to the down convert means.
