PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound semiconductor solar cell and a manufacturing method of the same, capable of stably producing a compound semiconductor solar cell that normally functions even when there is a pin hole.SOLUTION: The compound semiconductor solar cell includes: a cell body 21 having at least one PN junction; and an electrode 13b formed on a principal plane of the cell body 21.
