<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of leakage of ink from a welded portion while simplifying a configuration of an ink cartridge.SOLUTION: A liquid storage body composed of at least two sheets of films having flexibility comprises: a liquid storage bag capable of storing liquid; and a liquid supply section for supplying the liquid to a liquid consumption device. The liquid supply section is welded to each of two sheets of films at one end of the liquid storage bag. The liquid supply section is provided with a liquid supply passage, a first chamber and a second chamber in an inside portion. The first chamber communicates with the liquid supply passage and the inside portion of the liquid storage bag. The second chamber communicates with the inside portion of the liquid storage bag. The first chamber has an end surface facing one sheet of film out of two sheets of films and is partitioned from the second chamber by a first rib welded to the film. The second chamber has an end surface facing one sheet of film and is partitioned from the first chamber by a second rib welded to the film. The first chamber communicates with the second chamber via a gap between the second rib and one sheet of film. The second rib is separated from the first rib.</p> |
