<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulation device which shields sound noise transmitting through a duct for taking air from a passenger compartment of a vehicle to a cargo chamber, achieves small pressure loss of the air taken thereinto, and thereby sufficiently reduces the sound noise transmitted from the exterior to the interior of the passenger compartment.SOLUTION: A sound insulation device includes: a duct 6 which takes air from a passenger compartment of a vehicle into a cargo chamber; a blower fan 8 which is provided at the cargo chamber side of the duct 6 and blows air to the duct 6; and a rotor 7 which is disposed in the duct 6 and rotated by the air flowing in the duct 6. The rotor 7 includes: a rotary shaft 71 provided in a direction perpendicular to an air flow direction; and multiple blades 72 radially extending from the rotary shaft 71 in a radial direction of the rotary shaft 71.</p> |
