PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous black ink for inkjet recording that uses a self-dispersible black pigment, capable of improving its optical density (OD).SOLUTION: An aqueous black ink for inkjet recording comprises a colorant, water and a water-soluble polymer. The colorant comprises a self-dispersible pigment modified with a phosphate group, and the water-soluble polymer comprises at least one of pullulan and a derivative thereof. |
