PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite composition which has high initial magnetic permeability and an excellent balance between saturation magnetic flux density thereof and a low power loss thereof (in a MHz region), and to provide a ferrite core comprising the ferrite composition, and an electronic component having the ferrite core.SOLUTION: The ferrite composition contains a main component comprising 44.0-49.95 mol% iron oxide in terms of FeO, 1.0-20.0 mol% copper oxide in terms of CuO, 20.0-27.9 mol% zinc oxide in terms of ZnO, 0.01-5.4 mol% manganese oxide in terms of MnOand the balance of nickel oxide. The ferrite composition further contains 2-65 ppm phosphorus in terms of P, 40-5,000 ppm zirconium oxide in terms of ZrO, 150-1,200 ppm molybdenum oxide in terms of MoO, and 10 ppm or smaller arsenic in terms of As when the main component is 100 wt.%. The total content of the iron oxide in terms of FeOand the manganese oxide in terms of MnOis 50.1 mol% or smaller. |
