PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type writing instrument capable of making a refill retractable by a small amount of knocking when knocking.SOLUTION: A drawing cam movable in the longitudinal direction and rotatable is provided between a linear motion cam moving in the longitudinal direction and a knock cam of a rotary cam feeding mechanism, moving in the longitudinal direction. A first inclined plane is formed on the linear motion cam, and a second inclined plane inclining in the reverse direction of the first inclined plane is provided on the knock cam. The drawing cam is provided with a first action end contacting the first inclined plane, and a second action end contacting the second inclined plane. When the linear motion cam moves in the longitudinal direction, the knock cam moves larger than the amount of movement of the linear motion cam by the action of the first inclined plane and the second inclined plane. |
