PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and an assembly method which can downsize the physical constitution in a radial direction in a vehicle drive device that comprises an engine, an electric motor, a clutch, a torque converter, and a change gear in series.SOLUTION: Because a first housing 20a for accommodating a front module 47 and a first housing 20a for accommodating a torque converter 16 are formed integrally, a flange part protruding from the housing in a radial direction, which is required when the housing for accommodating the front module 47 and the housing for accommodating the torque converter 16 are different bodies, is no longer needed. Thus, since there is no need to provide the flange part, a vehicle drive device 10 can be downsized in the radial direction. |
