PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water treatment equipment and a water treatment method, capable of efficiently treating raw water which contains suspended substances, halide ions, and ammonia nitrogen, with reduced running costs and a reduced equipment installation space.SOLUTION: The water treatment equipment for treating raw water which contains suspended substances and ammonia nitrogen includes: membrane filtration means for filtering the raw water with a clarifying membrane; foam separation means for separating the suspended substances by using foams from at least one of condensed water and backwash drain water in the membrane filtration means; permeated water returning means for returning the permeated water in the membrane filtration means so as to be added to the raw water; and separation treatment water returning means for returning the separation treated water in the foam separation means so as to be added to the raw water. |
