<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately match a creasing position and a folding position of a sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a creasing unit 240 for forming a crease line on a sheet; a folding unit 310 for performing folding processing by sandwiching the sheet in which the crease line is formed by the creasing unit 240; a deflection formation unit for forming a deflection on the sheet in which the crease line is formed by the creasing unit 240 so that the crease line protrudes; and a control unit (an intermediate conveyance control unit 504 and a saddle stitch processing control unit 505) for performing control so as to make the deflection formation unit form the deflection on the sheet in which the crease line is formed by the creasing unit 240, and make the folding part perform the folding processing by sandwiching the deflected portion of the sheet from the apex.</p> |
