PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding method capable of preventing buckling of a sheet to be fed to a processing part and capable of performing reliable processes such as image formation or image reading.SOLUTION: An auxiliary sheet 70 has a holding part holding the sheets S in piles, and the holding part detachably holds the rear end edge Sb and side end edges Sc, Sd of the sheet S in such a state as to dispose the end edge Sa of the sheet S outside from the end edge 75 of the auxiliary sheet 70. Thereby, the sheet S only is taken out from the auxiliary sheet 70 by a conveying roller to be conveyed to an image formation part by contact of the end edge Sa of the sheet S with the peripheral face of the conveying roller.
