PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deformation of a terminal, and simplify a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an electronic device includes: preparing a metal mold 100 having a cavity 104 inside thereof to which resin is injected through a gate 102b; preparing a holding member 40 mounting a terminal 50 on one surface 40b side; arranging the terminal 50 and the holding member 40 in the cavity 104 so that the holding member 40 is positioned in an opposite side to the gate 102b while sandwiching the terminal 50, while mounting the terminal 50 on the holding member 40; and injecting the resin from the one surface 40b side of the holding member 40 through the gate 102b to the cavity 104.
