PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debris removal system capable of effectively removing space debris of varied sizes including a relatively large size and a space device used in the debris removal system.SOLUTION: A space device 100 comprises: an attaching section 110 which attaches to an object existing in outer space; and a propulsion section 120 which provides the space device 100 with propulsive force. The space device 100 carries the object to a predetermined target position by moving together with the object using the propulsion section 120 in a state where the attaching section 110 is attached to the object. A debris removal system 1 comprises: a guide control section 300 which brings the space device 100 close to space debris and allows the attaching section 110 of the space device 100 to attach to the space debris; and a propulsion control section 230 which controls the propulsion section 120 of the space device 100 in a manner that moves the space device 100 using the propulsion section 120 thereof toward the atmosphere together with the space debris in a state where the space device 100 is attached to the space debris.
