PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature humidity controller capable of controlling and keeping a relative humidity in high accuracy in a low temperature environment.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a low temperature humidity controller including a storage compartment for storing items so as to adjust a humidity of air within the compartment. The controller includes: a temperature adjusting means for adjusting a temperature of air in the storage compartment; a concentration adjusting means for adjusting a concentration of hygroscopic liquid; a gas-liquid contact means for making a gas-liquid contact between the hygroscopic liquid of which concentration is adjusted by the concentration adjusting means and air in the storage compartment; and a liquid droplet-collecting means for collecting liquid droplets of the hygroscopic liquid contained in the gas-liquid contacted air by the gas-liquid contact means. The hygroscopic liquid contains aliphatic polyhydric alcohol. The concentration adjusting means adjusts a concentration of the hygroscopic liquid to adjust a concentration of air in the storage compartment. |
