<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slave catheter with a novel configuration allowing for preventing movement thereof at a prescribed position and effectively preventing protrusion of the slave catheter when injecting a contrast medium or the like through the catheter in particular.SOLUTION: A slave catheter 10 having such length that the slave catheter inserted from a proximal-side opening part 58 of a master catheter 12 protrudes from a distal-side opening part 60, is a rapid exchange type provided with a distal shaft 18 with respect to a distal part of a proximal shaft 20 extending from the proximal side to the distal side. The slave catheter includes: a linear member 42 disposed along the proximal shaft 20; and a contact part 62 which, when the linear member 42 is operated from the proximal side, is pressed to the inner peripheral surface of the master catheter by protrusion of the linear member 42 from the outer peripheral surface of the distal shaft 18 at the distal side.</p> |
