PLATFORM ESCAPEMENT FOR A TIMEPIECE

The platform escapement assembly (1) has an escapement bridge (10) with a bottom surface (11) and a top surface (11A). A bottom balance bearing guides a bottom balance pivot of a balance (3), a bottom pallet lever bearing guides a bottom pallet lever pivot of a pallet lever (7), and a bottom escapement bearing guides a bottom escapement pivot of an escape wheel (6). A top balance bearing (12A) guides a top balance pivot of balance, a top pallet lever bearing guides a top pallet lever pivot of pallet lever and a top escapement bearing guides a top escapement pivot of escape wheel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a timepiece movement; and (2) a balance shake adjustment method for removable platform escapement assembly.
